Application of Battery Disconnect Switch
Foocles battery disconnect switches are suitable for a variety of applications. They protect batteries in automotive and marine systems and can also serve as control switches in industrial electrical circuits and renewable energy systems. Whether you need rapid isolation in a factory backup power system or safe maintenance on an off-grid solar installation, our battery disconnect switch guarantees reliable power cutoff, operable by a manual knob or remote control.

Battery Disconnect Switch Safety & Protection Overview
Foocles remote battery disconnect switch features built-in voltage monitoring. It automatically disconnects when the voltage reaches either 11.8 ± 0.2 V or 23 ± 0.4 V. Under-voltage conditions trigger an alarm and open the circuit to prevent battery depletion, while over-voltage disables the remote control to prevent power loss during driving.
Manual disconnect switches typically offer higher current ratings and fully weatherproof enclosures, providing a reliable, secure, and easy-to-operate point of power isolation, and are a vital component of any battery-based electrical system.
Experience and Expertise in Battery Disconnect Switches
With over 15 years of dedication to improving and manufacturing disconnect switches, we continuously launch new models for various battery-powered electrical systems based on customer feedback.
We set up an independent facility and assign specialized engineers to produce battery disconnect switches, with the objective of improving manufacturing efficiency and reducing maintenance complexity.

Ensure that the connected equipment or vehicle meets the battery disconnect switch’s specified current, voltage, and other relevant ratings, follow the installation guide, and maintain safe, reliable operation.
Usually, we advise negative-side installation. Unlike a positive-side connection, negative-side installation prevents accidental shorts from causing sparks and other safety hazards, simplifies the wiring, and keeps the chassis from becoming energized.
Waterproof battery disconnect switches are typically required for boats, RVs, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and outdoor equipment. We can supply IP65-rated battery disconnect switches to isolate main battery from secondary battery.
